friendship over all
A journey through electronic sound textures that will end up in a punky colorful party.

AUL
A breathless tempo, suspicious pauses, constant tension, unpredictable events: Aul's concerts are reminiscent of Hollywood cinema's most iconic car chases. For over ten years, bassist Martina Berther, drummer Mario Hänni and guitarist Roland Wäspe have been composing together the soundtrack of a road movie whose only images are the personal and fleeting ones that arise in the minds of the listeners. Both poppy and experimental, the Zurich trio sharpens the taste for tension, intensifies the feeling of speed and refines the sense of rhythm. Make yourself comfortable and buckle up!

Das Günther

Das Günther - has been mixing up the alternative techno, party and festival scene (Fusion, Sysiphos Berlin, Chaos Communication Congress, etc.) with their improvisational spectacle for 7 years. With the album “Strawberry Gelato”, the band is now reaching out in the direction of post-punk and indie with classic songwriting for the first time, without losing their roots for the political, outlandish and danceable.

The fans of Das Günther often describe the band from Hanover a little differently: “You have to have seen Das Günther live, otherwise you won't understand ś”; “WTF, was that?” or “Did they just change their costume 7 times while they were singing?”. The musicians have always been aware that this concept of improvised dance music with its irrepressible and explosive energy is difficult to capture on record, and after an improv record and a live album, Strawberry Gelato, released in March 2024, is the first album to feature produced songs. Vocalist Alex Rosengarth, drummer Albrecht Bibas and bassist Till Schomburg have teamed up with long-time band member Richard Häckel and producer Julian Colin (Braake, Trille, Tristan Brusch) to record a record that transcends genre boundaries and is reminiscent of crossover albums from the 90s. From indie with NDW influences (Reittherapie), disco (Ja Das Muss Einfach Mal Raus) to Dada techno (Autos Find Ick Scheiße), a broad musical spectrum is covered. Above this colorful mixture hovers the lyrical sword of Damocles of the climate catastrophe, which spreads its poisonous-tasting sprinkles on the ice cream cone of our generation.
