We design and build together and design the hall of the Central Laundry with our ideas.

Friday, 02.12

Sewing workshop

Mahdi shows us the basics of sewing and with his help we sew a great fanny pack. The fanny pack is an upcycled product made from textile remnants that can be customised. Feel free to bring old trousers, zips and webbing (like in your car) if you have any. The sewing workshop also offers the opportunity to try out other textile work.

Afterwards we will go together to the Autonomous School and have Z'nacht together in the café (2,50 CHF).

What would a birthday be without a long table? The AfR community comes together to eat at the long table and celebrate birthdays.

It's that time again - Architecture for Refugees Switzerland is one year older! The year rolls by and we roll with it! On this evening, the Central Laundry can be experienced with swing and pirouettes. There will be roller skates and obstacles on site. All those who do not yet feel confident on the wheels are cordially invited to roller skate training. Slalom and over obstacles at your own risk!
