Jam Labor Interdisciplinary Cyphering

Inspired by the Cypher in dance, we are researching a format in which different disciplines
communicate with each other.

*A cypher is a kind of 360-degree performance space and at the same time a place to learn and try out.

The person(s) in the middle of the circle get open and supportive attention from the others and thus give impulses in their actions that others can then take up again. We work with improvisation, which means that everything arises in the moment and interacts.

As a temporary community we are responsible for a safe space, respectful interaction and mutual support.

How can we show ourselves authentically and witness each other without judgement? The next session will deal with the “zero state”, the theme of zero, the standing still or the moment between two actions.

Bring your expertise as a human being, as a dancer, as a drawer, as a writer or storyteller.

-feedback round / ritual and open end with snacks and drinks
