Soon after its nationwide introduction in 2008, it became clear that the emergency aid system
is a dead end. It fails to achieve its goal of persuading rejected asylum seekers to leave the country.
Instead, it causes a great deal of human suffering through official harassment, coercive measures
and a lack of prospects for those affected. Numerous activists
and organizations have been drawing attention to this lose-lose situation and at the same time
support those affected in their daily lives.
We want to come together for the big Meet The Experts, give interested people the opportunity
opportunity to find out about the emergency aid system and think about it together:
