📣TALK ON FEMINIST RESISTANCE IN IRAN

Since the Iranian police arrested and murdered Jina Mahsa Amini in September 2022, the slogan of the Kurdish women's movement JIN - JIYAN - AZADI (Woman - Life - Freedom) has spread worldwide. Iranian feminists are in resistance against the regime, which is trying to put down the protests with violence. So far unsuccessful – the people in Iran continue to fight for a democratic and just society.

What challenges and opportunities arise from the protest movement? How can feminists in solidarity from all over the world support?

FIST (Feminist, Internationalist, Solidarity Meeting) and the Feminist Strike Collective Zurich invite Sanaz Azimipour, Dastan Jasim and Niloofar Rasooli to a discussion.
