MAD (Music and Dance) is a laboratory to explore and develop the relationship between experimental music and improvised dance in a club setting. This time around with Marquis’ McGee (US).

Marquis' McGee is a composer, multi-instrumentalist, and foley artist. While Foley artists more commonly work within film production, Marquis' utilizes foley techniques to create live sound effects on stage and in sync with dancers and actors to present the audience with a living and breathing sonic scenography. This, together with his unique blend of numerous musical instruments, various objects/props, and effects pedals, McGee hopes to bring listeners into new worlds, atmospheres, and stories through his performance practice. He is originally from the states (Massachusetts and Tennessee) and is currently based in Geneva, Switzerland“

MAD is an experimental space where the relationship between music and dance can be reimagined. There are no instructions. There is no bar service. The «Club» is liberated from all pressures of consumption. Dance and music enthusiasts are invited to explore and evolve their individual forms of expression. DJs and musicians are free to decide how to animate the club space without having to conform to the typical expectations of a club audience. Free expression of sound and movement.
