Film screening with introduction and discussion
In 2014, the Winter Paralympic Games are taking place in parallel with the russian annexation of Crimea. During the Games, a new border is drawn. The film depicts Ukrainian Paralympic Athletes who grow above their physical boundaries, while around them political boundaries are pushed back and forth. Following five Ukrainian athletes forced to adapt their personal and professional lives to the ongoing armed conflict, Pushing Boundaries is a relevant reflection on the human capacity to push back borders.

The screening is part of the program of 2402 forum, a political and cultural resistance platform against russian military aggression worldwide. The film is preceded by a short introduction and followed by an open discussion.
The event is coupled with the exhibition SORE LAND, presenting the works of ukrainian artists: Elzara Oiseau and „Ї [ji]” Collective.
