When Roman's mother reveals the truth, his life falls apart. He and his older brother are not his father's biological children. They were brought into the world through anonymous sperm donations. The news shakes Roman's identity and forces him to ask himself existential questions.
What remains of one's own identity when what one thought one knew is no longer true? What does it do to us when those closest to us have kept something from us all our lives? Will the feeling of being a stranger ever disappear again? And what hope is there in the stranger, his biological father?
'No Picture of You' tells the story of this search for answers, a journey through dubious clinics and silent family dinners, at the end of which Roman hopes to find his donor. But with every clue, he slips away more and more. Will he ever find him? And then what?
