From January 31 to February 2, ZW will host personal boxing trainings with Brian Keller, full-contact discussions in the boxing ring and immersive video installations by #BigDreams. Together we'll discuss why Brian's dream of freedom led to a rude awakening and what that means for his and all of our dreams of freedom and justice. With restorative justice expert Rehzi Malzahn, the #BigDreams artists also explore the violent spiral of prison and repression and the complicated search for alternative solutions.

Rehzi Malzahn
...is a criminal-abolitionist activist, publicist and certified mediator for mediation in criminal cases (TOA). She has written the books “Restorative Justice” and “Punishment and Prison”, which have become classics of prison-critical literature in German-speaking countries.

Brian Keller
...is a nationally known ex-inmate, aspiring professional boxer and boxing trainer in the ZW. He survived years of solitary confinement and racist media baiting and is now (intermittently) pursuing his #BigDream of becoming world heavyweight champion in freedom.

#BigDreams
...is the artist collective that ran Brian's Instagram account from solitary confinement in 2021 and accompanied and commented on his case with numerous other actions.
