Join us on Saturday 5th of April at the Zentralwäscherei in Zurich at our event Love and Loss - Tales from Palestine in a space of collective healing. We will gather as a community to make space for our grief and process our emotions through arts and culture. It will take place in a familiar atmosphere of Palestinian hospitality with stalls selling traditional goods and artwork, homemade food, coffee and tea, accompanying an exhibition by Palestinian artists. Whether through words exchanged or silent contemplation, you are invited to reflect on love and loss, the Palestinian heritage and how to nurture solidarity.

Dedicated workshops around grieving and emotional release aim to provide safety and support to all those who have been sharing our pain. Sounds and images will provide a mirror for us to engage with compassion. In the evening, our storytelling session culminates with personal stories shared by our Palestinian friends, on what it means to love in Palestine, how they deal with loss, and how they foster resilience. Multi-disciplinary sound artists accompany this journey with instrumental and electronic soundscapes of empathy and human unity. The music is woven into the words, live DJ sets culminating into somatic release.

Funds collected at the entrance will be donated to our families in Gaza and our artists working out of Palestine.

Organised by Swiss Action for Human Rights with Gazan Families in Switzerland, with our friends and artists' collective. Not-for-profit.
