“miZik” is a concert series which takes place monthly at the Zentralwäscherei Zurich. We present a variety of music on the small, compact stage in the Kleinwäscherei restaurant. With sounds based on grooves, rhythms and melodies, we fill a gap in the local concert landscape.

Konomono
Konomono is a five-piece krautrock/psychedelic band founded in winter, 2023. Members of the band are from different musical (shoegaze, jazz, dream pop, afrobeat) and cultural backgrounds (Chinese, Swiss and Arabic). Unlike classical which often focuses on the motorik flow of the songs, konomono prefers to play with the hypnotising quality of simple melodies on top of a classic krautrock song structure. Their songs are written in languages such as Japanese, Chinese, Cantonese, Arabic and English - an attempt to use them as different sound intruments.
