Ten years live, loud and homemade: AMBAROOTS celebrates in the Central Laundry
AMBAROOTS
Ten years of AMBAROOTS: One left, two new ones came. Reggae proliferates to a wild mix of styles. Dark dives are joined by sprawling festival stages.
What has remained is the love of music, the will to take a stand: AMBAROOTS, in its tenth year, is still independent and homemade, angry and in solidarity. And above all, musically transgressive.
The family has grown from loyal fans and friends. And they want to be celebrated! And with them "10 years AMBAROOTS live", meaning 10 years of concerts as platform, free space and fiesta.
With them on the anniversary is the moving, seven-piece band Rizada. They have soul and down-to-earth, big hearts and lots of attitude.
RIZADA
The seven musicians of the band Rizada create with their music an exciting genre mix of pop, reggae and hip-hop. The spherical, melancholic songs deal with important political topics, such as climate change, feminism or the dark side of capitalism. While some songs invite you to indulge and reflect, the others, however, make your dance leg itch with their fast ska rhythms or thick hip-hop beats.
