From 8 to 10 March 2024, we will be moving into the Zentralwäscherei in the industrial quarter with a programme of eleven wonderfully diverse dance, theatre and performance projects. A team of artists from Zurich selected the contributions and compiled them into a colourful programme - the focus here was not on artistic curation, but on facilitating experiments, research and synergies. The performing artists have their roots in dance, theatre and performance.

Sky Talks lädt auf eine poetische Reise ein und erschafft mit Tanz, Video und Musik einen Kosmos, in dem die Grenze zwischen Fantasie und Realität durchlässig wird.

Valea Völcker –_ Etude of Body and Voice_
“Etude of body and voice” explores the connection between body and voice, how they interact, fight, merge and move together. Arising from playfulness, it questions the perception of being one and many at the same time, floating between wholeness and duality.

Skriebeleit Schwarz – Sohnicht
Algorithmen bestimmen, was uns Social-Media-Feeds zeigen. Anderes, Neues wird ausgespart. Das tägliche Scrollen bekräftigt die eigene Meinung und erzeugt Filterblasen. Wie problematisch sind Algorithmen? Sohnicht ist eine satirische Aufarbeitung über toxische Inhalten in sozialen Medien.

Gabi Glinz – Stills
Stills ist eine Solo-Performance, die von der Präsenz, dem Bezug zum Situationsraum und dem Momentum lebt. Durch innere und äussere Impulse entwickelt sich ein Ablauf von Bewegung, Handlung und Innehalten. Bilder entstehen, die verschiedene Assoziationen und Interpretationen ermöglichen.

"Only The Dead Fish Goes With A Flow '' blends dance, techno, text, and projections into a sensible Molotov Cocktail of female resistance.

Brücki 235 ist ein Ort von der Szene für die Szene und für Zürich. Der Verein bietet im Auftrag von Kultur Stadt Zürich eine selbstverwaltete Infrastruktur aus neuen Proberäumen, regelmässigen Aufführungsmöglichkeiten und einer Vielzahl von Vernetzungsformaten. Das ist bahnbrechend: Noch nie gab es in Zürich einen Ort, der den Künstler*innen so viel Mitgestaltungsmöglichkeiten bot und der ohne ein Kurationsteam oder eine künstlerische Leitung auskommt.
