“miZik” is a concert series with two bands per evening, which takes place monthly at the Zentralwäscherei Zurich. We present a variety of music on the small, compact stage in the Kleinwäscherei restaurant. With sounds based on grooves, rhythms and melodies, we fill a gap in the local concert landscape.

Ada Calypso
Ada Calypso is a newcomer from Zurich. She has been composing her own songs for 4 years, incorporating her feelings and experiences into the lyrics. Her music is broad and ranges from indie pop to R&B and liquid DnB.
She recently released her first single "Down with You" with Colado, with whom she has been producing songs for some time. Last summer, Ada started playing Calypso in a live constellation together with her band members Pino and Linus. Together they form an unmistakable sound that moves between electronic sounds and acoustic melodies.

Jo Mayasi & the Fellas
Jo Mayasi is a drummer and singer from Neuchâtel.
Strongly influenced by artists such as D’Angelo, Erykah Badu, Dwele, Devin Morrison and Robert Glasper, he decided to form the group “Jo Mayasi & The Fellas” to express his love of R&B, jazz and neo-soul music with his talented friends.
