NOI with Kay Zhang

How to Love Many in Many Ways is an open-source collection of games, exercises, and playful texts that depart from expanded notions of “love.” The games involve physical touch, movement, relaxation, and conversation exercises. The three chosen games invite participants to engage in diverse practices, of intimacy and reflection, of collective questioning, of holding space for collective silence.

NOI is a game created by Eleonora Toniolo. What does it mean to give and have space in a conversation? What would you hear if you could just sit and listen? What would you say if you were granted full attention? NOI (“we” in Italian) is an excuse to experiment with both positions, grounded on the understanding that different rules generate new outcomes.

About the moderator:
Kay Zhang is a transdisciplinary artist whose artistic practice works in-between sound, performance, curation and research. Kay works in formats and discourses including intercultural identities, care practices, cooking gatherings and sound ecology.
