Research Conference // 4 - 7 OCTOBER 2023 at Zentralwäscherei in Zurich

With the Recherche Conference we want to capture a point on the timeline from which there is no going back to the current conditions of production in artistic creation. The question is not whether we should change something but how. We can only achieve a turnaround towards more environmentally friendly action and future-oriented thinking in the performing arts by joining forces.

The research conference Point of No Return takes place in a temporary installation by Raumlaborberlin, created in collaboration with students for scenic spaces from 10 different cities. With Point of No Return we manifest a new togetherness. Practices of recycling, collaging, arranging, swapping, reusing and sharing will come to the fore. With the research conference we want to encourage the participants in their commitment to participate in a new orientation.
