Guest performance by Unitheater Basel at the Zentralwäscherei in Zurich

When Trump’s first term began in 2017, the author Elfriede Jelinek (Nobel Prize in Literature 2004) responded with the text “Am Königsweg”. Now Trump is back in the White House, and the text reads almost prophetically today. Jelinek seems to have foreseen developments that are now our reality. No other text manages to describe, expose and denounce the current fascist tendencies in the US and Europe with such precision.
