Hossam El-Hamalawy is an Egyptian journalist and socialist activist currently based in Berlin. He was among the 2011 Egyptian uprising organizers and long time member in the Palestine solidarity movement. In this conversation, he will recall the historic ties between the Palestinian and Egyptian people, shed light on the ongoing crackdowns and arrests of pro-Palestinian individuals in Egypt and analyze the complicity of the Egyptian government in the ongoing genocide.
