ZW Performance Week 17-23.06.2024

SPÄTER - by Companie TeKiTeKua
The movement piece “SPÄTER” deals with the construction of ideas, expectations and social perceptions of the individual and their self-optimization. “SPÄTER” is a construct that makes us lethargic or confronts us with constant pressure to optimize and narcissism. But “SPÄTER” also makes us yearn and create utopian ideas for the future. In terms of dance, the piece shows enthusiasm for the potential of non-verbal storytelling through influences from contemporary and urban dance styles, as well as through the influence of physical theater.

it´s your own desert, you know
This short sequence is inspired by Joëlle´s cat, by a childhood memory of Mattia, by Sophie´s urge to move and Helena´s thoughts on the desert. It is about togetherness, longing, misunderstanding and everything else you want it to be in those 12 minutes.
