Sailing Onwards: From Flotilla to Freedom – The Flotilla

In 2025, the global Sumud Flotilla, a convoy of over 50 civilian vessels from 44 countries, set sail toward Gaza to break the illegal Israeli blockade, deliver humanitarian aid, and establish a people-led humanitarian corridor. In October 2025, the flotilla was illegally intercepted by the Israeli occupation forces in international waters, and the activists were taken as prisoners to the Negev Desert.
